Having been involved in many civic organizations since I moved to Hickory in 2001, I have long worked for positive change in Catawba County. As a member of the U.S. Navy Memorial Association, USO of North Carolina, U.S. Congressional 10th District Military Advisory Committee,  Boy Scouts of America Venture Crew Advisor of the Year 2006, Past President, Republican Men's Forum, Hickory Choral Society 2002 to 2007, American Legion Post 48, Veteran's of Foreign Wars Post 4553, Disabled American Veterans Hickory Chapter 34, Greater Hickory Metro Area Unaffiliated Past Chair, and tenure as an NJROTC High school teacher, my continued and committed public service has rewarded me with many friendships and the opportunity to meet a cross section of county residents

In all my endeavors, the relationships I've forged has instilled inspiration, great personal satisfaction and a sincere desire to offer my experience, effective leadership style and concern for others in a new capacity for our county.

I would like to bring my legal experience, managerial, administrative and technological skills, a new voice, innovative ideas, an energized work ethic, and a fresh perspective to foster positive interpersonal relationships, partnerships and pragmatic solutions to the Catawba County judicial courtroom workgroup consisting of the Judges, Law Enforcement, District Attorney and Defense Counsels.  All in the combined effort to provide strong customer service to the citizens of our great county

Dear Valued Friend,

This year has been an exciting one and I look back with pride on the idea-based positive campaign I forged.  I’m most thankful for the friendships renewed, new supporters gained and genuine goodwill generated from such a privileged endeavor.

I would personally like to thank each and every one of you for displaying your confidence in my personal character, resume and experience by casting your vote for me on 4 May.  Voting is one of the most important civic duties we enjoy to honor the freedom we have and I sincerely appreciate the trust you vested in me.  I ask for that trust again.

I would also like to reach out to all my fellow citizens who did not vote for me this election cycle and ask for your support now and for your vote in the future.   I promise to approach each day of future elected public service with the same dedication and zeal I have demonstrated during my U.S. Navy and Catawba county schools career.

The enthusiastic support I received from dedicated friends and voters during my campaign both enable and encourage me to continue in my desire to run for the office of Clerk of Superior Court of Catawba County.

Your gift is especially impactful, as it will provide the valuable financial assistance that will help me to retire my outstanding campaign expenditures and begin building on the cornerstone quality campaign we laid this year.

I hope that I can count on your support.  Please return the completed pledge card below. I am most grateful to you for your investment in my past and future campaign.

Thank you for your continued generosity.

Your contribution will help in the purchase of important campaign materials. That’s why I’m asking you to invest in my campaign to help make a real difference and lead us to victory in 2014!
