Having been involved in many civic organizations since I moved to Hickory in 2001, I have long worked for positive change in Catawba County. I am an active member of the Hickory City Community Relations Council appointed in June 2011; at-large member of the 2011-2013 GOP Executive Committee; 2011 Catawba County, District and State Delegate; U.S. Congressional 10th District Military Advisory Committee member; Claremont City Military Advisory Committee member; American Legion Post 48 member; Veteran's of Foreign Wars Post 4553 member; Disabled American Veterans Hickory Chapter 34 member and U.S. Navy Memorial Association Wash, D.C., member.

My past memberships include President, Republican Mens Forum (2 terms 2004-2006); Past Chair, Greater Hickory Metro Area Unaffiliated Group 2007; Hickory Choral Society (2002 to 2007); Boy Scouts of America Venture Crew 302 (Crew Advisor of the Year 2006) and USO of North Carolina.

My continued and committed public service has rewarded me with many friendships and opportunity to meet a cross-section of Catawba county residents

In all my endeavors, the relationships I've forged have instilled in me the inspiration and personal satisfaction for continued public service. My proven effective leadership style and welfare for others make me ready now to serve our county in a new capacity as your Clerk of Court.

I will bring my legal acumen, managerial experience, administrative and technological skills, a new voice, fresh perspective and energized work ethic to our courthouse. I will work everyday to foster positive interpersonal relationships, partnerships and pragmatic solutions with our Catawba County judicial courtroom work-group consisting of Superior and District Court Judges, Law Enforcement, the District Attorney's Office and Defense Counsels. All in a combined effort to provide strong, effective and efficient justice and customer service to the citizens of our great county.

Congratulation's to all candidates who recently ran in the 2011 Catawba County Municipalities. Your citizenship and dedication to the community is greatly appreciated by all.

I am now a proud alumni of Appalachian State University, Boone, North Carolina. Graduation commencement ceremonies were held on Sunday, December 18, 2011. My pursuit of a graduate degree in Criminology is complete!

GOP Victory 2012

is nearly upon us. The primaries and march to a nominee, our National Convention and Election Day 2012 here we come. I encourage all of you to sign up with our GOP party and volunteer. We will need all of your talent, time and energy to achieve victory.

My intention to run as your next Clerk of Court has not wavered. In fact I have never been so confident in my ability to serve in our Justice Center. My studies and time spent in court during my recent internship has shown me I'm capable and ready to carry the mantel of leadership as your next Clerk of Court. I will carry it enthusiastically, respectfully and proudly.
