Welcome

Having been involved in many civic organizations since I arrived in Hickory in 2001, I have long worked for positive change in Catawba County. As a member of the U.S. Navy Memorial Association, U.S. Congressional 10th District Military Advisory Committee,  Boy Scouts of America Venture Crew Advisor of the Year, Past President, Republican Men's Forum, Hickory Choral Society, American Legion Post 48, Veteran's of Foreign Wars Post 4553, Greater Hickory Metro Area Unaffiliated Chair, and tenure as an NJROTC High school teacher, my continued and committed public service has rewarded me with many friendships and the opportunity to meet a cross section of county residents.

In all these endeavors, the relationships I forged has brought me much inspiration, great personal satisfaction and a sincere desire to offer my experience, effective leadership styles and concern for others in a new capacity for our county.

My family and I now feel that the time has come for me to seek elected office. I wish to run for the office of Clerk of Superior Court.

would like to bring my administrative and technological skills, new voice, innovative ideas, an energized work ethic, and a fresh perspective to foster positive interpersonal relationships, partnerships and pragmatic solutions to the Catawba County judicial courtroom workgroup and city management team.  All in the combined effort to provide strong customer service to the citizens of our great county.

Volunteer

This campaign will require a strong grassroots organization and coordinated voting precinct effort. Our goal is to have a precinct canvass & poll worker for each of the county’s 40 voter precincts to speak to voters and hand them candidate information pieces about me prior to and on Election Day, Tuesday, May 4, 2010.

Registering "new" voters will be very important to our  campaign's strategic plan.  The deadline to register new voters is Friday, 9 April (25 days prior to election day)!

We will accomplish our goal with campaign materials to get my message out. I cannot do this alone. That’s why I’m inviting the people that know me best to join my campaign and help make a real difference in this race.

Click on the the "Volunteer"  button on the home bar above and select a precinct!
